Never trust their words. Here’s my personal experience: we booked two rooms for Pournami 20 days in advance and asked them to take an advance to confirm the booking. They told us the booking was confirmed, and we could pay when we checked in. But when we called the day before to confirm our check-in time, they asked for all the details again and said the rooms were available, but at twice the price we had booked. Since we didn’t have time, we booked another hotel.

It’s just okay. The restaurant only serves lunch, and the food is poor. There’s no coffee in the morning, no clear parking, and no refrigerator for cold water. There are only one or two employees, but they are very warm and helpful. The place is fine for sleeping at night, but only for a short stay.

Good location, very close to Ramana Ashram. The rooms are clean and spacious. A single non-AC room costs only Rs 750. There’s a German bakery, Blooming restaurant, and a Tibetan restaurant next door. The shopping area, art gallery, and massage parlour are also nearby.
