We had an amazing stay in Wayanad thanks to our wonderful host, Mr. Sayooj He went above and beyond to make our visit special, offering great hospitality and helpful tips about the area. I must mention, his wife is an excellent cook the food was delicious! We’re already planning our next trip to Wayanad and will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend

One of the best stays ever The location, food, and hospitality were all amazing. Sayooj and Jinsy took care of every little detail and shared great insights about Wayanad. They were wonderful hosts. We planned a special visit to this place but had the worst experience. The cottage we booked, based on the pictures, was given to some local guys for drinking. The host then showed us a smaller cottage with no ventilation, and the washroom was outside. When we asked to stay in the original cottage we had paid for, the host tricked us into moving to another property he claimed was better. Though we were skeptical, he insisted it wasn’t safe to stay at the original place due to the people coming to drink.
When we asked how he could allow such people at his place, he didn’t answer and kept pushing us to move. Eventually, he took us to a remote resort 20 minutes away from the original location, with terrible rooms and no network coverage. We agreed to stay for one night, asking to move back to the original place the next day. But when we called, he stopped answering and told us the same people would be there again. After all the trouble, we finally left and got a refund for one night.
I would not recommend this place to any family. The owner should be more careful about the kind of guests he allows if he’s so particular about his ratings. It really ruined our vacation.
