Kaveri Super Market

Kaveri was the first private Super Market started in the year 1988 at Ramalinga Nagar,Trichy our Chairman and founder Sri.p.RadhaKrishnan with a Small investment of Rs.3 lakhs Though the Super market was located in a small street. It attracted the people from all over the trichy district,by our Chairman Sri.P.RadhaKrishnan innovate Business strategies like-very low margin, High Quality Produts, Free door Delivery, Phone Orders accepting returns for Marriage & bulk orders Etc. In the first year 1st self Kaveri achieved the turn over of Rs.1 crore per annum. In the year 1995 Kaveri achieved the turn over of Rs. 2.5 crore per annum.

Because of the Patronage and overwhelming response for the Kaveri by the Trichy people we were able to start our main branch at Junction with an area of 6000 sq.ft. on 3rd march 1995. Our Managing Director R. Murugavel Ravi Shankar took charge of me managing and introduced self service,computerized Billing and Inventory, Credit Card Purchase and added must than 50000 range of products. In those years even metro cities did not have such a big Super Market. Kaveri has become a very popular among Trichy people like, Rock fort and Kaveri River in Trichy city due to the proximity of bus stand and Railway station Kaveri had customer from allover the TamilNadu.

To catches the needs of people living in Ariyamangalam, Kattur, Thiruverumbur, BHEL etc.. Kaveri started its 3rd Branch at Thiruverumbur in the year 2000 . Thiruverumbur Branch had Vegetable & Fruits section and Chat Corner additionally, With in few days Thiruverumbur Branch had over whelming response among the people.
