In this storied setting, you'll find five rooms - or galleries, given the hotel's art influence - carefully put together by the architect Tony Joseph and curated by Bose Krishnamachari.
The rooms at The Postcard Mandalay Hall are called galleries with good reason. Each room is curated in the true sense of the word, with artworks by handpicked artists found as you make your way through the rooms. They are also utterly luxurious, with clean lines framing the voluminous bed, choicest furniture, and other design touches that are best discovered once you check in.
Art walks. Historic walks. Or leisurely, neighbourhood walks. The riches of Mattancherry and Fort Kochi are within, well, walking distance from the hotel. The town’s creative spirit runs through its markets, boutiques, and cafes, offering a wealth of local experiences no matter your interests.

Mattancherry's worldly influence makes its presence in the hotel’s culinary offerings, most notably at അ, or Aah, the experimental fine dining restaurant. The restaurant specialises in contemporary Kerala cuisine bringing in global ideas to local flavours - a rare idea, expertly executed. The name is a nod to the first letter, and sound, in Malayalam, indicating perhaps, that in these parts too, everything begins and ends with food.
