Dayanand Anglo Vedic ( D.A.V) Matriculation Higher Secondary school was established in the year 1994-1995 at Mogappair. It has grown into a reputed school with classes from LKG to XII. It was affiliated to The Tamil Nadu Matriculation Board. The school is a part of D.A.V. group of schools managed by the Tamil Nadu Arya Samaj Educational Society, Chennai, a limb of Arya Samaj (Central); Chennai, under the Societies Act XII of 1860, SI. No. 101 of 1974.

Adhering to the demands of the changing times and keeping in mind the demands of the parents, our management has facilitated a switchover from Matriculation stream to the CBSE stream from the academic year 2020 – 2021 and renamed as D.A.V. SECONDARY SCHOOL, MOGAPPAIR ( Affiliation No. 1931329 ). The school functions on the principles advocated by the social and religious reformer, Swami Dayanand Saraswati. It adheres to the teaching practices instituted by the Dayanand Anglo Vedic system of Education.
