A journey from a roadside Halwai to the most loved Indian eatery around the globe. In the 1940s, the Mulchandani brothers started serving their famous Chaat through a tiny stall in Bans Road, Karachi. Within no time, they emerged as a favourite of the region. Partition brought the Mulchandani brothers to India and Kailash Parbat was established in Bombay in 1952. Since then, it has gained a huge amount of popularity not just in India but around the world. Being a favourite amongst people of all age groups, Kailash Parbat has become a formidable brand in the restaurant industry that satisfies cravings for flavours of North and South India, Chinese cuisine and much more.

It’s one of the best places near Adyar for North Indian veg food. The service was really good, especially from Anuj, who was very nice.

I had a great experience. The food was delicious and easy to digest. The service was prompt, and Raej kindly recommended the best dishes. When I return to Chennai, I will definitely come back here.

The ambiance is great, and the food tastes awesome. I’m definitely going to dine there. Mr. Choudhary was very polite and suggested some really good dishes. They don’t have birthday cakes, but if you bring one from outside, they’ll join the celebration and play music for you. It was a great experience.

Worst experience ever. The food isn’t tasty, and many items on the menu aren’t available. It claims to offer authentic Mumbai food, but the taste doesn’t match. For example, the pav bhaji had hard, burnt pav fried in oil. The tomato soup seemed more like tomato puree. If you want real Bombay food, don’t visit this place.

I had the worst experience. It wasn’t the same Kailash Parbat (Harrington Road) I visited a few years ago. The place looked old, with wires visible coming out of the walls. The paratha was tiny and not appealing compared to before. The wash area was dirty, with no running water and food particles in the bucket and mug. If this is a franchise, please remove the name because it’s a disgrace to the brand.

Worst service. They don’t give cutlery or water even if you ask multiple times. The waiters don’t pay attention, even if you call loudly and they’re standing close by. It’s a terrible place.
