From very humble beginnings the group which established the Punjab Sweet House, at the dawn of the Indian Independence, took the next logical step of opening a restaurant named Kaveri in Ranchi.
Kaveri in no time became the most popular restaurant in the city providing affordable quality.

Timeless! The food tastes just as great as it did 30 years ago. It's the best food in Ranchi, with no comparison to any other restaurant. One of the top restaurants in all of India It's impressive that they maintain such high standards while being purely vegetarian.

The taste of the Shahi Paneer was not good, and the thali was not as expected. I asked one of the waiters about the Shahi Paneer, and he told me, "Kabhi khaye nahi ho." His behavior was not acceptable, but we managed and still gave him a tip. The owner should make sure the waiters' behavior is better. The service needs improvement.

Very poor management and experience. There was too much crowd. We planned to have a special thali dinner at the Kaveri Church Complex branch. After waiting for an hour, our turn came, but they told us the thali was not available. We requested it, but they refused, saying it was due to bulk orders. We spoke to the management, but they gave the same response. If it's not available, they should display a notice outside. Our mood was completely spoiled. I will never visit again. After waiting 2 hours, we finally got other dishes.
