We arranged a pickup and drop from Madurai to Kodaikanal. Driver Johnson (Vehicle number TN64K6541) was excellent. He was always on time and gave helpful advice for tourists like us. It was a very good experience.

After checking with many travel agencies in Kodaikanal, we chose Kodaikanal Call Taxi for our recent trip. Their prices are reasonable, and they offer various packages for village and forest tours. Our driver, Anna Uday Shankar, was knowledgeable about Kodaikanal, answered all our questions, and was very punctual. However, we didn’t like the high charges for short distances, which is common among travel agencies there. For example, they charged ₹1100 for a 2 km pickup and drop-off to the lake, which we found expensive.

The climate in Kodaikanal with mist and rain is well managed for tourists. Udaya Shankar's Innova is excellent cheap, clean, and punctual. Be ready by 8 am, as it tends to rain and get misty after 3 pm.

They took advantage of us at the end of the trip by not clearly informing us about the prices. We agreed on one price before starting the tour, but at the end, they asked for extra money, claiming the visit to the forest area cost more. Make sure everything is clarified beforehand to avoid paying extra.

The AC in the tempo traveller wasn't working properly. Despite asking the drivers repeatedly, they didn’t keep the AC on all the time. We had to deal with diesel fumes and travel sickness because the AC was off during the whole journey. It was a frustrating experience.

The cars are not well maintained. They quoted one price at booking but charged an extra 2500 at the end. Make sure to get a clear price before booking.

They covered very few places and charged an unreasonable amount. Highly not recommended, especially for North Indians. There seems to be a lot of partiality.

It was a pleasant two-day trip to Palani and Kodaikanal. The vehicle was good, and the driver was cooperative and comfortable. I recommend contacting them if you're planning to visit Kodaikanal.
