MR Matriculation Higher Secondary School which was establi-shed in the year 1987 by Mr. R. Ramasamy an eminent businessman is catering to the educational needs of the students residing in Mettukuppam and the surrounding areas and serving the cause of quality education to the students. The school is managed by Muthayammal Educational Society. Besides the establishment of M.R. Matriculation Hr. Sec. School, Muthayammal Polytechnic, Muthayammal Memorial College of Arts and Science, Muthayammal Industrial Training Institute are also managed by the Trust.
The Institution lays emphasis on all round development and discipline of the students. The classes are from Pre-KG to STD XII. The School with its strength of 2400, owes its success to the constant support of the parents and the blessings of the Almighty.

As a former student, I’m worried about how this school affects children’s development in some ways. For example, there aren’t many chances for kids to practice speaking English in class. Also, the rules for behavior aren’t always clear or consistently enforced, which can impact the classroom environment. Parents should think about these issues along with the school’s strengths when deciding on their child’s education.

Joined as a supervisor and found such a positive vibe in the school. Mr. Vijay Kumar Sir (Anna) is especially wonderful. The teachers are multi talented, and the students are top notch. Overall, it’s the best.

It was the worst experience. We came to attend our son's UPSC exam but were forced to wait outside, even though there were small rooms for parents to wait inside.
