This is a wholesale/retail market, great for regular vegetable and fruit buyers. I visit every weekend and get fruits and vegetables at almost half the price compared to other markets. There's no bargaining for small quantities, but if you buy 4-5 kg or more, you can get a better price. Parking is also available.

Early mornings can be very tough because of all the small vendors in and around Chennai suburbs. It gets a bit better after 8 am. But for the first two weeks, you’ll need to be really careful while going in and out safely after making your purchase.

Fruits are only available in bulk here. I can understand if a few fruits aren't good, but my experience was really bad. I would suggest buying from retail vendors or street-side stalls instead, as they seem to have better knowledge of picking good fruits, even though they might be a little more expensive.
