Admissions to the B. Tech program is only through the common entrance exam, SRMJEEE 2023, which will be held through Remote Proctored Online Mode in 3 Phases during the months of April and June, and July.

Dr. T. R. Paarivendhar founded SRM Group in 1968 and is respected as a Visionary for his service to the cause of Education and Public at large. He serves as a Distinguished Parliamentarian representing Perambalur Lok Sabha constituency, tamil nadu.
SRM is one of India’s most multicultural large institutions offering a truly multidisciplinary learning experience to students and researchers.
It is his foresight and intent to empower through education that he nurtured SRM Institute of Science and Technology into an Institute of Higher Learning with high set of standards for professional education from as early as 1985 (since its inception).
He visualizes God in the smiles of the disenfranchised and neglected and is seeing to it that they are empowered with full scholarships. Controller of Examinations
The Controller of Examinations is responsible for preparing and scheduling the university examinations for all the courses offered at the SRMIST.
CoE also coordinates the central evaluation of answer scripts, the publication of results, and the issue of Grade cards, Transcripts, Provisional Certificates, Degree certificates, Migration certificates, and Duplicate certificates.
In addition, we provide genuineness and verification services to various stakeholders such as Government entities, Educational institutions, Corporate bodies, and Private verification agencies.
We also arrange for pre-and post-auditing of question papers and answer booklets by both internal and external subject experts as well as maintain records related to examinations.

Overview
Office of International Relations is a dedicated directorate within SRMIST tasked with the mandate of ensuring best of the global practices, opportunities and exchange for the benefit of our students as well as faculty / staff.
It is therefore a consequence of such focused initiatives that SRMIST enjoys a high degree of recall in the international fora and many of our students and faculty members have the benefit of collaborating with institutions abroad over many structured initiatives.
Chancellor's Message
SRM group of institutions have carved out a niche for themselves in the higher education space of this country through relentless effort to promote qualitative and modern education.
India faces a big challenge in providing higher education ta as many people as possible in a short span of time to achieve its growth objectives.
It may not be possible to create brick and mortar campuses far all in the near future and alternative modes of education have to play a vital role in enhancing the Gross Enrolment Ratio (GER). In this context, the distance education programme of SRM IST gains great relevance as the huge academic infrastructure available already can be utilized to benefit the distance learners also.
It also serves a great social purpose by reaching out to those who had left the formal stream f0r some reasons and want to pursue further the quality higher education.

Overview
SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) have taken various research initiatives over the years to mobilize the available knowledge resources for research and also, to come up strongly with innovative solutions.
All the research centers of SRMIST function in a cooperative manner to identify and initiate applied as well as cross-disciplinary research projects, create and combine patentable Intellectual Property (IP) components, design and develop prototypes & proof of concepts, manage and market products & solutions (through know-how transferred incubated companies), win and work to deliver funded research projects.

Director - Sports
Sports play an important role in every human being’s day-to-day life and bring people together irrespective of their age, gender and nationality. Our Founder Chancellor has a great vision to make SRMIST as a Temple of Sports in India.
Directorate of Sports is marching towards fulfilling his vision as a reality.
Over the last few years, SRMIST has seen a lot of success like never before. Young achievers in various sports have won prizes and medals at various state, National and international level events.
Our goal is to increase the participation of our teams in various competitions and win medals and bring laurels to the University and the country.
SRMIST is one of the few Universities in the country which encourages sports and games which has changed the lives of many young sports men and women. I strongly believe that sports help to inculcate teamwork, sacrifice, discipline and leadership qualities.
In addition to the regular sports activities, the Directorate of Sports, SRMIST offers a variety of courses through the Department of Physical Education & Sports Sciences and the Department of Yoga.

This is the Directorate of Student Affairs (DSA), SRMIST, Kattankulathur. Our guiding principle is to enable to our students adequate facilities and avenues to explore, understand and realize their potential. In short, DSA is all about excellence in everything beyond classroom based learning.
