It's an excellent place to learn arts and music, but they focus only on traditional arts and don't offer modern instruments like piano, guitar, or keyboard.

One of the amazing places in Chennai! I completed my B.A. in Vocal Music here. It was a beautiful experience. The college is full of art and culture, with a great atmosphere, ongoing art programs, and a river at the back. Overall, it’s a very peaceful place.

Tamil music is very important in Indian music history and has greatly enriched our state's culture. Music schools and colleges were set up to offer formal music education. Authentic Carnatic music, vocal, instrumental, and Bharatanatyam institutions in Chennai.
The teachers are wonderful, many are musicians by tradition with deep cultural roots.
The place needs more maintenance and funding. It could be kept in much better condition.
