Established in the year in 1996 with the approval of AICTE to impart the technical education to the people of Yanam an enclave situated 840 Kms away from Puducherry by U.T of Puducherry. As a Co-educational institution with two diploma programmes Electronics and Communication Engineering and Computer Engineering. College is fully funded by Government of Puducherry and governed by PIPMATE.

Offers regular three year diploma programmes in Engineering and technology to the candidates who have passed 10th ,12th / I.T.I from Puducherry region and vacant seats to the people of other regions.

The school has good faculty and a green environment. There are placement and incubation centers with all the facilities. They offer three branches: Civil, ECE, and Computer Engineering. There are good opportunities for higher studies through lateral entry.

The facilities and infrastructure are very poor. The staff is inexperienced, and the teaching methods are outdated. There’s no clear direction for the staff on what to deliver. The management is a joke, and this polytechnic is a total waste of time. This diploma won't help you compete in the real world.
