The worst place I've ever been, especially the restaurant. The food was terrible; the paneer tikka had no flavor, and even the simple dal khichdi for kids was bad. The rooms were average, and the bathroom was dirty and old, definitely in need of renovation. The swimming pool was decent, but overall, this resort is not a family friendly place. The front desk service was also poor; they didn't listen to our complaints about the food and rooms. Think twice before booking here.

The rooms are okay, but the indoor games are not well maintained. The 8-ball pool table is broken, and the table tennis uses a plastic ball meant for kids. There's a carrom board, but it has no powder and is in bad shape. I had high hopes for a good experience, but I should have chosen a different place.

My stay at Grand Serena was great during my vacation in India. The room was big and clean. The hotel had many amenities, and the restaurant served delicious food. The check-in process was smooth and made a good first impression. Room service was quick, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a comfortable stay in Pondicherry.
