You can get the best sweets in Kolkata at very cheap prices. Mihidaba and boondi are the specialties here, made with pure ghee. Avoid going in the evening because it gets too crowded, and you will have to stand in a long line.

At Kaligown Flour Mills, the gram flour had a bitter taste, ruining my laddu. The packaging for the wheat flour is also bad; they reuse old paper and use blue glue, which isn’t safe for food. They should buy new brown packets that are easily available in the market.
