RangaMaalika Heritage Residency

Travancore Tours & Pilgrim Services was established in 2011 with a view to providing a high level of service and comfort to those who come to Trivandrum for a darshan of SreePadmanabhaSwamy. Drawn from varied professions, the Directors of TTPS have an average experience of 35 years in senior level administration. The property was taken up for conversion to a pilgrim facility as desired by Late His Highness Padmanabhadasa Sree Uthradom Thirunaal Marthanda Varma Maharaja of erstwhile Princely State of Travancore to whom TTPS shall be, forever, indebted. TTPS continue to receive admirable support and encouragement from the erstwhile Travancore Royal Family which helps sustained provision of quality service to its esteemed customers.
Providing the right ambience for such a pilgrimage and for combining piety and pleasure is a challenge. At RangaMaalika this challenge is successfully addressed. Not only that RangaMaalika is located in the heart of the City, but is housed in a 225-year old property which is a part of the Rangavilasom Palace of the Royal Family. It is one of the oldest properties in the surroundings of SreePadmanabhaSwamy templeand witness to many significant events in History of Travancore.
The building was renovated in 2014 to provide five-star facilities in the rooms. This includes choicest toiletries, linen, bed and pillows and, of course, an air conditioning system with fresh-air intake. The fine architectural attractions have been restored to perfection.
RangaMaalika is also located at the center of the City of Trivandrum (Thiruvananthapuram). It also makes available to the Visitor to the SreePadmanabhaSwamy Temple, and Trivandrum, an experience of the past glory of the Maharajas (Kings) of Travancore which was one of the five richest Princely States in India under the British Rule.
