The Correspondent and Secretary, Thiru.S. Selvaganabathy, undergoing all odds and hardships started a nursery school at Sellaperumalpet, Lawspet to serve the people living in and out of the limits of the town.Due to the hard work, perseverance and dedication of the school management and teachers and due to the cooperation of parents and students, the school has fastly grown and it has blossomed into one of the best schools available in the Union Territory of Puducherry. The Management of Vivekananda Educational Institutions has recently started the teacher education programme of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.).

‘Vivekanandha’ is a college with a difference, because we aim at imparting and developing moral education with good character in children.
