About This Business

The Good Gift is the marketing arm of Indian Yards Foundation which started the journey in 2019 and has since developed 6 craft focussed clusters across The Nilgiris. Each of these clusters are developed as a center of excellence for the respective craft. Indian Yards Foundation up-skills women from rural & indigenous communities of The Nilgiris into first generation artisans and subsequently enables them either into an existing craft cluster or develops a new craft cluster depending on the need. Indian Yards Foundation supports these clusters with design and capacity building. They have so far built expertise in craft forms such as macrame, crochet, quilting, needle work, embroidery, sashiko & applique.

A big thank you to Sunitha and the team for making such high quality masks. The adjustable elastic and pure cotton cloth make them really easy to use for both elderly people and children. We also received a beautiful handmade bag with great quality and strong straps. My daughter loves her red bag with lots of squares it really fascinates her Thanks again for the lovely items.
